Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches:
Dieser Kurs gilt nur für Bachelor. Magister- oder StaatsexamenskandidatInnen können diesen Kurs nicht besuchen.

Inhalt:

Students will have to EITHER offer a presentation of a prospective bachelor's thesis OR undertake a short oral exam on one of the texts on our reading list. Additionally, ALL students will have to read ALL the texts on that list. This will be tested in regular intervals.

All other texts: As the challenge here is extensive reading, the format you choose to read the texts in is immaterial. You will find all the texts online in their entirety. You will also find many of them in various anthologies. With the pre-1800 texts in particular, I would recommend the use of an annotated edition, but this, too can be found online (for instance here: http://www.shakespeare-online.com/plays/ ) .
