(depending on degree course): contribution to a 20-min presentation (individual or in a small group), preparing a worksheet in an expert group and/or writing a short (6-page) term paper on a topic previously discussed with me.
Reading materials: William Shakespeare, Measure for Measure, Jane Austen, Northanger Abbey, R.L. Stevenson, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Virginia Woolf, Jacob’s Room, Julian Barnes, Flaubert’s Parrot, as well as the shorter texts provided as master copies before the beginning of the semester (notification via Jogustine/the JGU Reader).
