Inhalt: This course is designed to enhance students’ academic writing skills. Besides refreshing fundamentals, such as composing thesis statements, introductions, topic sentences, transitions, and conclusions, you will also practice revising your own writing as to style and word choice, accuracy, adherence to MLA format, and fluency. Over the course of the semester, students will learn what’s involved in composing a critical, well-thought-out and organized, argumentative (academic) paper through the theme of this class: "Writing About and Through American Popular Music.
