Inhalt: The critique of patriarchy in religious tradition that has been developed by pioneers of feminist theology has been extended to a critique of the multidimensional oppression (racism, colonialism, economic exploitation, etc.) in the Third World by leading women theologians. The journey of critique begins with the classics of western feminist theology (Rosemary Radford Ruether, Elisabeth Schuessler Fiorenza and Mary Daly), via texts of womanist (Delores Williams) and mujerista theology (Ada Maria Isasi-Diaz) by African American and Hispanic Women in the United States and it ends with the texts of women theologians in the Third World (Mercy Amba Oduyoye, Musa W. Dube from Africa; Elsa Tamez, Ivone Gebara, Maria Clara Bingemer from Latin America; Kwok Pui-Lan and representavies from Dalit theology in Asia).
