Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches: Für BA-Studierende der Linguistik gilt: Voraussetzung zum Besuch dieses Kurses des Moduls 7 ist das erfolgreiche Bestehen der Abschlussklausur von Modul 1.
Inhalt: The aim of this course is to familiarize the students with the methods of typological research. Each student will be assigned a grammatical topic which s/he will have to analyse in a sample of individual typologically diverse languages. Each student will give an oral presentation with a handout. In addition, students can write a Hausarbeit as a part of the examination regulations for Modul 7. The course will be taught in English, presentations and discussions can take place in German.
