Inhalt:
This lecture will look at the poems collected in a 1996 anthology said to represent, as its title suggests, the United Kingdom's 100 most popular works of poetry. While themes, genres and, indeed, poems will be discussed in individual lectures, the lecture series as a whole will also discuss questions of canonicity. Students are encouraged to read the relevant poems in preparation of each of our sessions.
