Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches: Prerequisites: C-Test English with qualification for level B2.2 or successful completion of a B2.1 level English course. Graduates of a B2.2 or B2.1 course will be given priority. C-Test dates for winter term 2017/2018: October 10, 9:00-12.00 and 13:00-16:00 in Room P209 (Philosophicum) Credit requirements: 1. regular participation and session preparation 2. completion of a set of special speaking tasks
Inhalt: Discussions, debates, presentations, meetings, small-talk, or simply talking about current issues: this course will give you a chance to practice all these formats. The precise line-up of topics shall represent the interests of the participants and will be agreed on in detail in the first course session. The more specific language work to be done in the course will include remedial lexical and grammar activities as well as vocabulary enlargement.
