Inhalt: In the age of "fake news" and an increasing blur between the boundaries of fact and fiction this course will present, practice and evaluate teaching methods of Reality TV in the EFL classroom. After looking into the theoretical base of teaching film in general, students will create their own ideas and approaches to teaching various competences through the medium of Reality TV in different age groups and levels as well as in analytical and creative tasks. Students are required to give a presentation on a task cycle they designed and hand in their presentation. Detailed information will be given out in the first session.
Empfohlene Literatur: Required readings will be provided in a reader at the beginning of the term.
