Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches: Dear participants, Please note that this course will be taught exclusively through the online platform Moodle. Due to the current situation, we have to move away from weekly face-to-face meetings and instead meet online at a set day and time only for office hours, occasional quizzes and writing assignments, and possibly for the final exam. This asynchronous course style gives you more freedom in deciding when to do most of the course work. Many instructors university-wide decided to go with this model to ensure that students receive the best possible chance in actively participating in as much classes as possible. We understand how particularly stressful this situation is for many of you and hence wanted to give you the chance to participate at a slower pace. We will use Moodle for the course work, such as reading assignments, study activities, and background information in the form of texts, slides, videos, and short lectures. Please check your JGU email account regularly for notifications concerning the course as well as information that the Studienbüro and the President's office may forward. For further information on attendance, rules for active participation and final exams, please consult the syllabus that will be uploaded to our course on Moodle on April 20th, 2020.
