Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches: In this proseminar, we will zoom in on syntactic, phonological, morphological, regional and socio-linguistic characteristics of Late Modern English (1700-1900). Until further notice, this class will be taught online, most material will be accessible via ILIAS. To be awarded the status of ‘aktive Teilnahme’, you have to prepare some reading, submit homework, participate in forum discussions, complete online quizzes and take part in occasional Microsoft teams or skype meetings. At the end of the term, there will be an exam. Although the class is taught online, you are expected to be "on call" on Mondays between 4 and 6. In order to access ILIAS, you will need a password, which will be circulated via e-mail.
