Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches: In this proseminar, we will gain detailed insights into the history of the English language. Until further notice, this class will be taught online, most material will be accessible via ILIAS. To be awarded the status of ‘aktive Teilnahme’, you have to prepare some reading, submit homework, participate in forum discussions, complete online quizzes and take part in occasional Microsoft teams or skype meetings. At the end of the term, there will be an exam. In order to access ILIAS, you will need a password, which will be circulated via e-mail. You are expected to be 'on call' on Monday mornings between 8 and 10.
