Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches: It is enough to have a bachelor of science in physics, knowledge of quantum mechanics, and basic of statistical mechanics.
Inhalt: The course provides an introduction to classical & quantum field theories, as well as many body methods, for the study of non-equilibrium systems. Lectures include development of both technical tools and concrete physical applications, and it serves as an invitation to a modern and active research area. Special focus will be devoted to dynamics and steady states of dissipative quantum many body physics, with applications in quantum optics, solid state and condensed matter physics. Topics:
