Inhalt: In this class, students will develop a meaningful research project that could also serve as topic for a prospective a BA/BEd thesis. At the beginning of the semester, students will decide on their own research topic from the field of American literary or cultural studies. Students will choose their topic/idea either from a previous seminar/class or from a set of themes provided by the instructor. Developing a self-designed research topic is mandatory for receiving credit for this course. The project can also serve as the subject of a bachelor’s dissertation/thesis.
