Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches: This course offers a comprehensive exploration of the linguistic development and evolution of the Old English language, spoken from the 5th to the 11th centuries. This course delves into the morphological and syntactic changes that occurred during this period, shedding light on the origins of Modern English. Students will analyze Old English texts, examine the influences of other languages such as Latin and Norse, and study the dialectal variations across different regions.
