This course is especially designed for PhD candidates and advanced MA students of American Studies. Its goal is to give candidates an opportunity to discuss work-in-progress (dissertation outlines, MA thesis) and to familiarize advanced graduate students with current critical debates in American Studies and make them participate in ongoing research projects launched by the American Studies division at Mainz.
