Requirements / organisational issues:
On the basis of a selection of representative texts, this course aims to provide a survey of the main epochs of British Literature, recapitulate literary genres/sub-genres, protagonists and terminology and identify potential exam and thesis topic. The topics treated form a pool of exam topics for the “Modulprüfung” to be taken by M.Ed. students.
Course requirements:
all students: regular attendance, active participation in in-class discussion (on the basis of preparatory worksheets)
(depending on degree course): mock exam of about 8 minutes in front of the group on an agreed topic and/or short (6-page) term paper.
