Requirements / organisational issues:
This course is aimed at providing intensive practice in oral communication skills but with a strong emphasis on pronunciation practice.
Participants will be expected to do a significant amount of work at home.
Handouts, including those needed for the final test, will be made available on Ilias. These should be prepared in advance of the class wherever possible.
Part of the final test will demand the learning of a large number of new words - meaning and pronunciation - which students are expected to do (with some assistance!) during the course of semester. The test will also include reading fluency and conversation skills.
