Contents:
In addition to other possible topics, the following topics will be covered in the course:
- Theory of complex numbers,
- Finite dimensional vector spaces, scalar products, especially three-dimensional vector spaces with vector and scalar product,
- Real and complex functions
- Taylor expansions
- Functions in several variables, local extreme values, multidimensional integration
- Ordinary differential equations
- Basic concepts of vector analysis (vector fields, gradient, divergence, rotation, Laplace operator)
- Orthogonal functions and expansions
- Transformation methods for integrals by coordinate change
