Basic knowledge in
- mathematics (Diskrete Mathematik)
- programming in Python (Einführung in die Programmierung)
Contents:
In this course we will look into different areas of mathematics and their application in small practical programming tasks. In groups of three persons, the students will work on about 6 different topics for 2 weeks each. Every two weeks the results will be discussed with the tutors.
Digital teaching:
On Tuesday the 21th of April at 16:00 the first tutorial takes place in Teams. Organizational matters will be discussed.
The practical course consists mainly of autonomous work in small groups of 3 people. The groups must organize themselves and coordinate their via appropriate platforms.
Possible platforms are:
- Teams (JGU)
- Mattermost (JGU)
- others
The presentation of the results takes place each two weaks in the groups via video conference:
- submission of the results at most one day before the presentation (via Gitlab)
- presentation and discussion of the results in the group with a tutor in a live-conference (Teams), the fixes time slots will be assigned at the beginning of the term
