In addition to exercise groups, the course Experimental Physics 1 also includes the corresponding "tutorial", which is obligatory for students of the B.Sc. Physics and highly recommended for all others (especially students aiming to become physics teachers).
Contents:

The course will cover the following topics:
-Introduction: measurement, standards of mass, length, time.
-mechanics of mass points: kinematics, Newton's law of force, reference systems, energy and impulse and their conservation, friction, gravity, apparent forces in accelerated systems.
-mechanics of rigid bodies: angular momentum, torque, moment of inertia, gyroscopes.
-mechanics of deformable bodies: elasticity, resting and flowing liquids and gases,
Bernoulian equation, oscillations and waves, acoustics.
-View: Limits of classical mechanics (e.g. relativistics).
-Thermodynamics: state variables and process variables, equations of state, theorems of heat-
theory, Carnot's cycle, entropy, basic principles of kinetic gas theory, Sto?e in ver-
different states of aggregation.
-Outlook: Relevance and limits of classical thermodynamics.

Digital teaching:
The current planning foresees online lectures at the regular times, which will be recorded simultaneously and made available promptly. I gained good experience with this approach during the summer semester with zoom, which produces a video format that is compatible with the university's panopto video system. At the same time, screen sharing from the iPad is also possible, which I usually use to write on digital whiteboards (instead of on the blackboard). The final online format will be indicated on the course website. The course website will be based on Moodle, which we also use for online forums, distribution and submission of exercises. Tutorials and exercises will be implemented either online or in a hybrid concept. This is still under consideration.
