Dear Students,
Before the first lesson takes place, I would like to give you now the following recommendation/task:
- Please register on ILIAS (online learning platform): The entire course communication will be carried out via this platform.

Contents:
A translation of a text will be assigned each week and worked through during the lesson; additionally, course participants will create a glossary of the outgoing text.
Evaluation: Each translation and glossary will be evaluated and given a grade. At the end of the semester, students write an exam.
Important! In order to pass the course, all course requirements have to be fulfilled. This means, assigned homework must be handed in on time and the passing of an exam at the end of the semester. In addition, university rules regarding attendance apply.

Additional information:
- exchange students are welcome. However, numbers are restricted and you need to have a good knowledge of English.
- exchange students accepted on the course need to pass an exam at the end of the course in order to receive a grade.
- listeners (Hörer) are welcome, but please speak first with the lecturer, Caroline White-Göttsche, because numbers of participants are restricted.
