This course is especially designed for M.Ed.-students. It offers a comprehensive treatment of short narratives in English and the flourishing of the short story genre from the nineteenth century to the present. It includes historical overviews, theoretical approaches, and surveys literary periods as well as individual stories, authors, and scholarly literature on short fiction.
