Contents:
The tutorial takes place in combination with the lecture series "Contemporary Research in Social Sciences" (CRiSS) and is aimed at exchange students. The individual lectures are followed up in the tutorial in terms of content and structure. Participants learn to structure the attended lectures, some of which are from other disciplines, to capture their central argumentation and to reflect on it critically. The course teaches core competences of advanced academic work based on the CRiSS-lectures. In addition, the students learn basic techniques of scientific journalistic writing and apply these to the contents of the CRiSS lectures.
5 ECTS (regular participation in the CRiSS lecture series and the tutorial sessions, submission of summaries and a science journalistic article).
Please note: Exchange students can either register for the CRiSS lecture which yields 2 ECTS (non-graded) or the CRiSS plus Tutorial which yields 5 ECTS (graded).
