In the interpreting practice course "Consecutive Interpreting German-Polish 2", the fundamental interpreting skills acquired in level 1 are consolidated and expanded upon. Particular focus is placed on the development of analytical skills, efficient note taking and concentration. Presentation techniques and linguistic transfer from the ST to TT are further developed and students are encouraged to prepare and research independently. At the end of the course, students are able to consecutively interpret a speech of approximately five minutes from German into Polish.
After successful completion of the course by fulfilling the active-participation requirements, the intermediate examination takes place, in which students consecutively interpret a five-minute German text into Polish.
