During the course, the characteristics of different types of texts are worked out using examples. Based on this the participants write their own texts based on the guidelines provided. Creative solutions (in the sense of transcreation and scopos) are welcome. In addition to mastering the conventions of text types, the focus is on linguistic and grammatical correctness.
The regular and punctual submission of homework is obligatory for passing the course (active participation). Exchange students have the opportunity to receive a grade by means of a written examination. Active participation in the course is required for participation in the written exam.
