Professionalization Exercise for MAKD Students
This course is open to all MAKD students who have successfully passed their first-year-exams (Zwischenprüfungen) and are getting ready to graduate.
This interactive and hands-on "workshop" will provide you with a solid overview of all aspects a professional freelance conference interpreter needs to know to navigate the market:
Basic introduction into marketing strategies, networking, professional ethics and codes of conduct, how to prepare an offer, invoicing, accounting and taxes, insurances, savings and investements, as well as understanding the portfolio and value of the services you render are all part of the content discussed in class.
No future conference interpreter should miss this course!
