Requirements / organisational issues:
- Teaches the basics of note-taking for consecutive interpreting. The class is taught in German, speeches are interpreted German into German.
- Participation is possible for B.A., M.A. Translation, M.A. Conference interpreting, and exchange students, either as regular students or auditing (without academic credit).
- Participants' German should be sufficient to easily follow the lesson and understand/reproduce simple German speeches.
- There is no examination/test; in order to pass, students must ensure regular attendance and active participation. Erasmus students for whom a grade is mandatory in order to get credit for the class should contact the lecturer.
CORONA INFO: As of now, the class is scheduled to take place in person. Should this not be possible, I might have to switch to a full online class. There will not be a hybrid option.
