This lecture focusses on current anthropological topics and theories from roughly 2000 to the present. These are critically discussed and placed in interdisciplinary contexts. In addition to current controversies, we will also deal with key concepts and methodological innovations that have significantly shaped the subject of anthropology during the last twenty years or so.
