Interpersonal guilt exists in all sorts of human relationships. Thus, if we are not inclined to lead an isolated life avoiding relationships whatsoever, we are compelled to deal with guilt in one way or another - whether by punishment, revenge and retaliation or forgiveness, reappraisal and forgetting.
In this course, we will attend to the questions 'What constitutes interpersonal guilt?', 'What is the difference between guilt and sin?', 'How do we deal with guilt?' and 'In what way are these questions topica of theological Ethics?'

Moreover, the course is meant to introduce the participants to methods pf academic research and writing.
