All interpreting courses offered as part of the interpreting propaedeutics (Dolmetschpropädeutikum) with Spanish may only be taken after completing the module "Foreign Language Competence". This course is is aimed at students of Spanish with German as an A language and Spanish as a B or C language as well as students of German with Spanish as an A language and German as a B language. Participation of Erasmus students is possible after consulting the lecturer and verifying sufficient German language skills (B2).
It is recommended to take the interpreting exercise "Note-taking Technique" in preparation for the exercise "Introduction to Consecutive Interpreting", but at the latest in parallel.
After successfully fulfilling this course by participating actively the student will have to pass an module examination in which she interprets a short German text consecutively into Spanish. The following modules are completed with this module examination: M.06.150.0110 / M.06.150.0115
Students who take this exercise for the module M.06.150.0097 pass by fulfilling active participation.
