Requirements / organisational issues:
An admissions test must be passed to participate in all interpreting courses offered by the Polish department in the MA in Conference Interpreting. 

Erasmus students studying at master's level may be admitted after consulting the instructors. 

Contents:
In the interpreting practice course "Consecutive Interpreting German-Polish 2", the fundamental interpreting skills acquired in level 1 are consolidated and expanded upon. Particular focus is placed on the development of analytical skills, efficient note taking and concentration. Presentation techniques and linguistic transfer from the ST to TT are further developed and students are encouraged to prepare and research independently. At the end of the course, students are able to consecutively interpret a speech of approximately five minutes from German into Polish. 

After successful completion of the course by fulfilling the active-participation requirements, the intermediate examination takes place, in which students consecutively interpret a five-minute German text into Polish.
