Basic knowledge of the Akkadian language is required.
Contents:
In the course of a centuries-long tradition of myths, epics and other narrative materials, a canon was formed in the 1st millennium BC. Chr. a canon developed. These are great works of the cuneiform literature, first of all the Gilgamesh epic. In this seminar, the beginnings of different texts will be read and explained according to their content.
