Sciences in general are essentially determined by their methods and their theories. This also applies to book studies. The seminar is an introduction to the most important methodological approaches and theoretical models of book studies. We read central texts of the subject and learn the most important bibliographical and historical, data-technical, statistical and experimental methods of book studies.
