The lecture is aimed at anyone who wants to gain a quick overview of the entire history of the Church. It provides basic knowledge and is also suitable as preparation for the exam instead of a revision course.
If you are able to attend the lecture regularly but not every day, you will receive the manuscript for the days you miss. In addition, detailed slides for the lecture will be made available via Moodle.
Compulsory attendance:
According to the legal regulations, attendance is not compulsory. For active participation, however, two of three short and simple tests (15 min.) on the main topics of the lecture must be completed (50%). The tests take place within the lecture times on 24 May, 28 June and 17 July.

11 Churches and theology in the long 19th century (1789-1914)
12 Churches and theology in the short 20th century (1914-1989)
