This course is suitable for those who have A level competence in grammar and discourse.
Compulsory attendance:
Attendance is not compulsary. Students who are not able to attend the course regularly should inform the instructor.
Contents:
This course is primarily aimed to develop students’ reading skills to understand texts in different topics and genres. Students will be able to gain knowledge of grammar and vocabulary through reading authentic texts from Turkish media and literature. Content is organized thematically, divided into a number of themes and language functions, such as topics related to Turkish culture.
