Contents:
The aim of this exercise is to train the processes of technical translation in professional practice. In the course, you will have the opportunity to translate texts from different subject areas and to familiarise yourself with text type conventions, translation strategies and various tools (translation memory systems, QA checkers, corpora...). In addition, participants will learn the basics of proofreading and post-editing and thus become familiar with professional working procedures.
