<strong>Course Title:</strong><br /><br />„Observing and Describing”: Developing analytical observational skills by examining selected Byzantine Artefacts.<br /><br /><strong>Aim of the Course:</strong><br /><br />In order to understand, interpret and classify the material legacies of the medieval Byzantine Empire, observational skills, the recognition of visual structures and schemes, as well as the ability to verbally present and write a scientific text is required. What do artefacts tell us through their visual form?
