Dieses Seminar richtet sich ausschließlich an besonders motivierte oder fortgeschrittene Studenten. Grundvoraussetzungen sind ein ernsthaftes fachliches Interesse sowie die Bereitschaft, substantielle Referate zu erarbeiten und sich in die angelsächsische Fachliteratur einzulesen.

Die Grundidee dieser Lehrveranstaltung ist die folgende: Wir bilden eine Arbeitsgruppe, die innerhalb eines einzigen, aber besonders zukunftsweisenden und thematisch eng fokussierten Bereichs direkt an die Forschungsfront vorstößt – und zwar zum frühestmöglichen Zeitpunkt. Dieses Seminar richtet sich deshalb auch ausschließlich an besonders motivierte oder fortgeschrittene Studenten. Grundvoraussetzungen sind ein ernsthaftes fachliches Interesse sowie die Bereitschaft, substantielle Referate zu erarbeiten und sich in die angelsächsische Fachliteratur einzulesen.
Textgrundlage sind zwei umfangreiche Textsammlungen (s.u.), die im April 2011 erscheinen werden. Ich werde versuchen, interessierten Referenten die jeweiligen Texte bereits früher zugänglich zu machen, zudem wird das Oxford Handbook of the Self allen Studierenden ab Mai auch elektronisch zur Verfügung stehen. Referate können ab sofort reserviert werden.
