Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches: Diese Übung führt in die Didaktik des fremdsprachigen Sachfachunterrichtes (in der im Titel angegebenen Sprache) im Fach Geschichte ein. Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme an Übung II ist der erfolgreiche Besuch der Übung I; die Übungen bauen aufeinander auf.
Inhalt: This course will (probably) be delivered online, using JGU-LMS ( Moodle), and Skype. It will be delivered by a native English speaker (Irish nationality). The methodologies of teaching in a Bilingual environment will be presented, as will an introduction to International, IB (International Baccalaureate) World School teaching. The historical content will be the RLP History curriculum, grades 7/8. Students will end the course with a deeper knowledge about Bilingual History teaching, the International school and IB approach to education, and the use of online technologies in education. A solid understanding of spoken and written English is required. Participants will need to have an internet enabled device for the sessions. Participating students will be expected to prepare a teaching sequence for a topic from the History syllabus as a final examination.
