Inhalt:
This course gives an introduction in the econometric analysis of individual-level data (data on individuals, households, firms, etc.) by focusing on a number of commonly used statistical methods.

These include methods for the analysis of panel data and regressions with binary dependent variables. These methods are used in a wide range of applications, e.g. health economics, economics of education, labor and industrial economics, as well as marketing.

In this course, students not only learn about the theory behind the methods, but also gain experience in reading scientific articles and in carrying out statistical analyses using the program Stata.
