Inhalt: With this lecture, we will give an introduction to the history of the universe and the associated mysteries. We will particularly focus on the large open questions in our understanding of the evolution of the universe. We will demonstrate that many of those questions are deeply connected to weak interactions and discuss how current research in the various fields of particle and astroparticle physics can address them. This lecture is part of the advanced courses in particle and astroparticle physics. In particular, we will touch upon the following topics:
