Inhalt:
Dieses Seminar ist der Geschichte und der Vielfalt kunstwissenschaftlicher Methoden gewidmet. Jede Seminarstunde wird eine andere Methode vorgestellt, diskutiert und an Beispielen ausprobiert. Grundlage dieses Seminars sind folgende Methoden-Reader: Michel Hatt u. Charlotte Klonk (Hg.): Art History: a Critical Introduction to its Methods, Manchester u.a.: Manchester University Press, 2006 und Wolfgang Brassat u. Hubertus Kohle (Hg.): Methoden-Reader Kunstgeschichte: Texte zur Methodik und Geschichte der Kunstwissenschaft, 2. Aufl., Köln: Deubner Verl. für Kunst, Theorie & Praxis, 2009 sowie Anne D'Alleva: Methods & Theories of Art History, 2. Aufl., London, Laurence King Publishing, 2012.
