Contents:
The lecture series will give an introduction in the physics of stars, their evolution and observation. In this, a variety of topics in modern physics will be touched, reaching from classical astro physics (stellar structure, optical observation) to problems in nuclear physics (nucleosynthesis in stars, equation of state of neutron stars) to aspects of astro particle physics (solar neutrinos, gravitational waves).
