Requirements / organisational issues:
Bachelor in Physics

Contents:
This course teaches basic models of ferromagnetism and magnetic phenomena. The course further introduces into various magnetic material properties. Novel spintronics devices require tailored  material properties. In-depth knowledge of the origin of magnetic material properties helps to understand the pathways of improving materials for specific applications.
