The course will analyze the economic implications of digitization from a microeconomic perspective using insights from industrial organization, information economics, behavioral economics, and data science.
Digital teaching:
The course consists of a weekly lecture and a weekly tutorial, both via MS Teams. In the tutorial, problem sets as well as academic papers will be discussed. In order to join the relevant teams on MS Teams follow the links that are provided on the accompanying Moodle course (Advanced Digital Economics). There you will also find all course material during the semester. (The separate Moodle course “Advanced Digital Economics (Übung)” will not be used.)
The first online lecture takes place on Monday, November 02. The first online tutorial takes place on Tuesday, November 10. To gain credit for the course, students need to pass a written exam.
