This lecture builds on the content of the course "experimental physics 4".
Contents:
The course covers the following subjects as indicated in the list of "Modules and Courses":
- properties, stability, structure, composition, and excitations of nuclei, nuclear forces;
- elastic, inelastic and deep inelastic scattering processes;
- strong, weak and electroweak interactions;
- introduction to the Standard Model of particle physics;
- ep, pp and e+e- collisions; bound states (quarkonia, mesons, baryons);
- importance of symmetries for the classification of particles and their interactions.
