Course requirements
- This course is a specialized course on corporate governance research.
- Therefore, it is highly recommended that you have prior knowledge in corporate governance.
Course objectives
- Discuss topics of corporate governance in an international context.
- Learn economistric techniques for identifying the causal effects of corporate governance mechanisms.
- Evaluate international research on corporate governance.
Course grading
- The grading is based on the performance in a final written exam of 60 minutes. The exam questions will be in English. You may answer the questions in German or English.
- The exam will cover the content discussed in the lecture. Further information on the exam and a test exam will be provided in due course.
- In addition, you are required to hand in your evaluation of assigned research papers.
