Contents:
This course focusses on the material science of magnetic materials. The course teaches basic models of ferromagnetism, antiferromagnetism and other magnetic phenomena. The course further introduces into various magnetic material properties. Novel spintronics devices require tailored  material properties. In-depth knowledge of the origin of magnetic material properties helps to understand the pathways of improving materials for specific applications.
